LA by way of Australia’s Miami Horror debuted their single “Colours In the Sky” (feat. Cleopold) earlier this year with BULLETT Magazine. This second effort drops fast on the heels of their seductive first track “Real Slow” (feat. Sarah Chernoff), part of a AA-side 7-inch out now on Neon Gold Records.

“Colours In The Sky” is a bold step away from the band’s traditional sound. A lush poignant, filled-out anthem that lifts with soaring choruses, climactic builds, sky-high synths and dreamy vocals, contributed by upcoming master song crafter, Cleopold. According to band producer Benjamin Plant, “we wrote this song in a lakeside log cabin near the outskirts of LA. It was a really inspiring and refreshing time, so we chose to write about everything that is uplifting about life, aiming high and seeing the positives in each opportunity.”

Now the band, consisting of Plant (production/keyboards/bass), Aaron Shanahan (keys/vocals), Daniel Whitechurch (keyboards), Josh Moriarty (guitars/vocals), and Joel Farland (drums), shares That’s Nice’s remix of “Colours In The Sky,” a deliciously groovy rework. Shared with Last Gas Station, That’s Nice’s remix comes as part of a package including reworks by Chrome Canyon and the track’s singer Cleopold. The band’s sophomore album will be released later this year.
