San Francisco-based producer/turntablist Touchphonics presents the Carmen Osterlye-directed music video for “A Million Pieces” featuring vocals from Alex Lee, lead singer of SF-based Le Vice. “Pieces” is the lead single from Destroy All Lines, the debut full-length from Touchphonics, also the head of independent label Elevated Press. “Everyone has felt extreme heartache at one point or another, and ‘Pieces’ is a song to capture that emotion,” Touchphonics explains. “The video captures the cycles of death and re-growth that happens when going through everyday life and especially through heartbreak, which in the end is what the song is all about.” Destroy All Lines drops September 25.
