Loose Logic “Loosid Dreams Vol. 2” [MIXTAPE]

Southland emcee Ian Westbrook a.k.a Loose Logic is readying his follow up to 2010’s Loosid Dreams vol 1 mixtape with Loosid Dreams vol 2, another 17 track collection of introspective cuts over rousing, neck snapping beats.

“I was making huge changes in my life when I recorded this mixtape” explains Loose Logic of the intense theme of release. “So there’s a lot of life examination on this one.”

Born and raised in LA, Loose Logic credits everyone from Slug and Sage Francis to Tech N9ne and Bone Thugs and Harmony as his influences. He dropped his debut LP, Logistics, featuring Jay Rock, G-Funk affiliate RBX, and gangsta rapper Ms. Toi last year. In 2010 he released Loosid Dreams vol 1, and in 2007, the Before the Storm EP. Loose Logic’s skills haven’t gone unnoticed: He won “Best Hip-Hop Artist of The Year” at the 2007 All Access Magazine Music Awards as well as “Best Urban (Rap) Artist” at the 2007 Orange County Music Awards. In addition, he has been featured in the Orange County Register, OC Weekly. More recently, he’s been featured in the Huntington Beach Gazette, Music Connection, Vapors.com, Rapreviews.com, URB, among others.
