On August 20th in Austin Texas, Dell and Intel Present Special Engagements concert series kicked off with scorching performance by Brooklyn sensation Theophilus London. The intimate affair happened at The Lustre Pearl, a unique bar set in a historic house on Rainey Street in downtown Austin, was the perfect venue for Theophilus, who fresh from the release of his latest LP Timez Are Weird These Days, threw out a set of high-impact hip-hop culled from a billion influences from new wave to punk alongside host Telli from Ninjasonik.
Leading up to the event, fans were given the opportunity to control multiple aspects of the show, including voting on which of three never before released remixes Theophilus would premiere during his set. The winner was “I Stand Alone (Gigamesh Sunlight Remix)” and now you can see the worldwide debut of it as well as download the track.
