The I.M.F. “2011 B.C.” [VIDEO]

Face down in the gutter, high off molly and in search of his next fix – All Messy Flesh could think to himself was, “what happened to my headphones”? Messy Flesh aka The I.M.F. (The International Messy Flesh) is confusion’s poster child. He represents everything ugly, everything beautiful; the skaters, the surfers, the in-crowd, the outsiders, the sober, the junkies, the prom queens and the prostitutes. The I.M.F. (International Messy Flesh) is an emcee from the Bay Area (San Francisco, Cali), and part of Born Cinnaz. He’s a self proclaimed, “Scumbag and a Gentlemen”. He refuses to follow the trends and firmly believes that labels are for the insecure. But in the ever changing world of Messy Flesh there is one thing that is for certain, his music is refreshing to the ear. Messy Flesh is a hodge podge of music and style. Whether it’s laid back cali tracks, stories about unprotected sex, or lyrical assaults on all that is normal, this Bay Area native is definitely standing out on his own platform. If all bad dreams could be this beautiful, the music world would be a better place.

On “2011 B.C.,” The I.M.F. doesn’t waste time with flashy nonsense; he delivers honest, hungry rhymes to awake anyone in the world who might be sleeping. “I remember trying to go to Summer Jam, now I’m just trying to make em go with a summer jam…” Big A. directs the video and gives you a good look at San Francisco as The I.M.F. hits up various spots throughout the day and night. Production is handled by DJ Fooders; he cooks up a track that keeps your head nodding and has a boom bap feel to it, reminiscent of 90’s hip-hop, but still sounds current and fresh. “This is the realness, so hate if you want to hate, or just feel this…”

This track definitely goes. You’ll have no choice but to feel it.
