Tinie Tempah, whose debut album Disc-Overy is finally coming out in the US on May 3rd, 2011, was the biggest selling British debut act of 2010, so we’re pretty excited to finally bring him stateside.
He has designated 2011 as the year he will duplicate his successes in America and he is already making waves. MTV recently named him an “Artist to Watch in 2011.” His latest single, “Written in the Stars,” is an addictive and message-driven song that will inspire listeners to stay in the positive and believe in themselves. Entertainment Weekly named the song the “next big hit of 2011.” The song will be available on iTunes on January 25th with the accompanying video making its debut the same day.
Tinie’s video for “Written In The Stars” (ft. Eric Turner) will have its US premiere on Vevo.com on January 25th. Listen to the song here. He will have his first ever US television performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on February 2nd where he will perform his massive hit and first single, Pass Out. Tinie and Pharrell got together in Australia on New Year’s Eve, and wanted to wish their friends, family, and fans a happy and healthy 2011. Check out that video.
