Chris Young the Rapper “Postin’ Westcoastin’”

Chris Young the Rapper, Bananabeat Record’s premiere artist, just released his latest single “Postin’ Westcoastin’” which will be featured on his newest project “Value Pack II: Cream & Sugar.” The track was produced by Spencer from The Ski Team, who has worked on Dom Kennedy’s “Venice Beach” and “Tell her,” Chip Tha Ripper’s “Roll Up” and Dude Royal’s “Don’t Go (Remix) feat. Rob Roy.” As a follow-up to his most recent effort “The Crave,” a remix of Flight Facilities’ “Crave You” Young collaborated with Spencer to create a chilled out nod to vintage West Coast hip-hop. The song features jazz beats and Young’s unmistakable off-centered styling.

“Postin’ Westcoastin’ was originally going to be on the Mood Swing EP, but I felt like it didn’t fit the concept of the record so when I started working on Value Pack II, it went from Mood Swing Archives to the second single for Cream & Sugar. Together I think these first two releases give my fans a taste of both the Cream, pure classic hip hop, and the Sugar, electronica/dubstep, that come together on Value Pack II.”
