“The idea of “Leftovers” came immediately after the release of Cuey Sings the Blues. I wanted to release the records that didn’t make the project, being that the songs were still good material and also write a couple new records. Within a week or two those couple of records that I originally set out to do transformed into a mostly a brand new project. This project is something to hold my fans over until my next major project which will arrive in March or April of 2011. “Leftovers” will also be the last sample-heavy project released from me. The artwork, done by myself and the Academy Printwear guys will be released in a couple of weeks.” – OnCue
