Victoria, BC indie-rockers Zerbin are set to head east this spring on tour in support of their latest single, ‘Lift’ and in anticipation of the Fall release of their sophomore record. The track was included on the group’s latest EP, ‘Touch,’ released in October 2013. To accentuate Lift’s anthemic nature, Zerbin recently filmed a video for it in the awe-inspiring B.C. wilderness.
Formed in Edmonton in 2009 Zerbin immediately staked their claim in the western Canadian music scene through heart-pounding song craft and captivating performance. After winning two Edmonton Music Awards, and having several releases debut in the Top 40 of Modern Rock radio charts, Zerbin went on to have songs used in television shows such as America’s Next Top Model and Degrassi. Features in various Hollywood productions and further song placements in major North American television ad campaigns have consistently broadened their audience.
Since relocating to Victoria, Zerbin has kept up a busy touring schedule and shared stages with the likes of The Flaming Lips, FUN., and MGMT. Their imminent trek with fellow left coasters Good For Grapes promises to provide unforgettable evenings of musical exhilaration and enlightenment. A must see on your spring tour bucket list.
