Avant-Garde drops off his most recent release, the mixtape “2v Sides of the Same: Spittin’ Images”. This project truly signifies Avant-Garde’s coming of age as well as the expansion and growth of his talents.
Every one of these tapes is a chapter in my life. For Sides of the Same it was like all of the stress and frustration of being overlooked sparked somewhat of a beautiful disaster. The main aim was to present a level of versatility that listeners hadn’t previously heard in my sound. Each track is a completely different experience but they culminate to make a solid piece of artwork. Whether you’ve heard of me or not this is my epitaph. Multiple parts of my personality were channeled to ultimately create what I feel is my best work to date. With that said listen with a heavy heart and open mind…. VIBE TO THIS SHIT!
