You know we’re all about networking and supporting the people who have helped us grow since the start and in doing that, we’ve made a lot of close connections with other movers and shakers in the blogosphere. Having worked alongside Matt Whitlock in designing Notoriety’s official site and his newly launched DropTheR.net, we’ve gotten in touch with a whole slew of upcoming artists that just might’ve slipped under our radar… One of those artists being Natural.
Natural’s an artist coming to us all the way from Beantown. Though it’s only been 2 years, from the looks (and sounds) of things, he’s been in the game a minute. His debut project “The Bartender” dropped last summer and was warmly received. The first single off the tape titled “I Don’t Play” landed in the Top 5 on local college hip-hop radio charts and even garnered some airplay overseas.
They recently shot the video for that track back in April, look for it sometime in the near future. Til then, peep this behind the scenes footage… If you’re not into BTS peeks, I still recommend watching. There’s an ill cipher featuring some of the top artist out of MA including J The S, Charmingly Ghetto, recent Amalgam Digital signee Dutch ReBelle and, of course, Natural.
And if you’re really into the freestyle scene, you gotta lend an eye and an ear to this dope 9 minute freestyle that he did live on WTBU’s Midnight Marauders radio show on April 29th.
Nat just dropped his latest track “Bump That”, featuring Brook and Real P of the Famous Nobodies which has recieved some airplay on 88.9, Hot 97.7, Big City Radio and Jamn 94.5.
Also in the works, is a collabo EP with Excetera from Boston’s “The Camp” hip-hop group, called “The BARbarians”. That should be dropping by early summer. Keep it locked in! And as always, show some love!
