DomiJo has received many standing ovations and won many competitions, including 2 weeks at New York’s World Famous Apollo Theatre. Numerous appearances on cable television, and her inspiring performances on Voices Of Our Youth, a cable show in Wilmington Delaware, Air play on New York’s Power 105.1Fm and many Industry events.
DomiJo claims Patti Labelle, Chaka Khan, Barbra Streisand, Beyonce, and Whitney Houston as some of her vocal inspirations. With her parents, grandparents, brother and aunts as her personal inspirations.
DomiJo separates herself from other singers, with her versatile vocal repertoire of Classic Soul, Pop, Jazz, Dance, Hip Hop and R&B. Her other talents include writing, playing guitar and piano, dancing, modeling and acting. DomiJo believes that making music for the world is her destiny. Today… DomiJo is just trying to follow her dreams.
