Raised in the chaotic streets of Markham, Illinois just on the outskirts of Chicago, he transcended the stereotypes and graduated from the University of Illinois with 2 degrees. Since the 1st grade when he won his first talent show performing an original rap, he has continued to build on his talents by constantly challenging himself to grow as an artist each time he approaches the mic.

Mr. Pure’s most recent project “Dooms Day” (May 2011), is sure to resonate throughout the Rap/Hip-Hop community as music worth listening to, giving listeners a 100% unique experience with every track.

Collaborating with long time college friend C.Norman (Christopher Norman – Chicago, IL) who produced both “Not a Game” and “Dooms Day,” as well as starting their own Independent Record Label (D.Liberat.Records ©2011), they have created a sound which will leave listeners with only two choices: Like It or Love It.
