In this first full-length album single from DMV-rapper Harmony Muzik, “Walk on Water”, HM asserts herself over heavy guitar and bass driven production byScrilla Ventura, with half conscious/half zealous laced rhymes. Adding in a dose of soul with featured artist Scolla on the hook and bridge, HM compliments with added vocals throughout for balance. The single is preceded by two freestyles earlier this year; Dexter-inspire video “Taerkey Bacon” and New Year’s Day release, “Starter”. Last month, Cool Kids Forever Films shut down various buildings, restaurants, and churches all over DC to shoot the visual for “Walk on Water”, projected to premiere in late June.
Small Giant is HM’s 5th studio album and features production from Scrilla Ventura, Statik Selektah, and more, with guest artists including, Boog Brown, Garvey the Chosen, RAtheMC, Alison Carney, Ihsan Bilal, Tese Fever and more. “Walk on Water” was recorded with Zechariah Wise at Depth Charge Studios in Alexandria,VA, and mixed by Scotty Beam!
