Fresh from the ASF camp to my inbox (and then to your ears), Kevin Abstract and Dom McLennon deliver their first collaborative effort in “AGELS” over the totally funky sounds of the xx by ROME.
Abstract shines on the track with an extended verse shining light on his crew, hometown, as well as himself with clever wordplay throughout the track. Dom also lays down some lines, following Kevin up with a rapid-fire verse featuring a more mature and sophisticated rhyme scheme than he normally credited with.
The track itself is much like the visuals, totally unique, which is something so few artists manage to be these days. The visual isn’t your usual video but is an animated cover which, in my opinion, really complements the content of the track and the organic production.
